Thanks for all your virtual support. Have decided not to tell First and Secondborn about Moms home. After all, no-one can do anything. If she contracts it then it will be a different matter.
Glad you had a good day today @AuntyRach we have to celebrate the victories when they come along, even though they seem few and far between at the moment.
Had a nice evening playing games and cards with Firstborn and the family over the inernet it cheered me up no end.
The vet came, met my friend with my horses, Hannah and her 29 yr old, deaf, almost blind, rescue horse companion. He was sure Hannah had cancer and would die over the weekend so he put them both down. The old chap would have been bereft without her. My friend said it was very peaceful, vet gave them a tranquiliser first and they were almost asleep with they had the final injection. It has been an awful day.

BusyL I'm so very sorry for your loss... our animals are our best friends and our family. Sending you hugs x Auntyrach well done to you and your colleagues for helping another patient through! And a very big thank you x Yvie, glad your evening was enjoyable and cheered you up x Night everyone
Well, they had a good life with you and a calm, quiet ending and you can't really ask for more. They were lucky to have you and you are lucky in your friend and your vet. Hugs @Busy-Lizzie.
Glad something has gone well for you today @AuntyRach. Fingers crossed for your mum @Yviestevie.
Well done Charlie and his babies @D0rdogne_Damsel. I have babies too - cavolo nero planted in cells so no pricking out, in theory. They haven't all popped yet but it's a good start for seeds sown last weekend.
@chicky which bit of that fascinating garden do you get to play in?

All of it @Obelixx 😀😀😀. Never had a day the same since I started. Potted on 300 of those foxgloves you saw, and weeded the bit of the spring garden you could see by the stream. And head gardener Tom is a lovely genuine guy - think he came across well. Can’t wait to get back there 😀😀😀
I’ve been pricking out lots too ... and sowing more seeds ... consequently my neck hurts again 🙄 I’ve taken solpadeine so hopefully they’ll kick in soon.
Night night all ... sleep tight 🛌 😴
