Lots of jobs to do in the garden and was wondering when I would have the time to do them, now I have! Got loads of bricks, slabs, stones etc from various projects which I have kept over the years in case they "come in useful" but am now fed up of carting them around to various parts of the garden to store them. Will gather them together and see if I can find someone who will find them useful!

I work in a primary school. Yesterday more than half of my daughter’s secondary school teachers were off, and about 10 staff were off in my school. This thing is moving fast and changes are occurring every hour. On a plus note, I’d say the traffic outside our house this morning has been reduced to about half what it would normally be, during rush hour. Air quality here in the city will, at least temporarily, improve and the environment will benefit, if that’s a silver lining...
We're doing fine here too. OH spent most of yesterday using his machine to chip wood. I am in busy decorating mode. Ceiling now done. Start walls today. Funny how painting gets your mind working laterally about other things.
While the paint dries I have endless patch projects, sashiko and mosaic and the garden to get on with. The onion sets I planted a couple of weeks ago have responded to a couple of afternoons of sunshine and are now growing. Garlic growing well now. Broad beans covered in flowers. Caulis doing well at last and the latest brassica plugs too.
Definitely an opportunity to shorten the "To do" list and get ahead.
