I am leading on starting a major community mutual aid network in north London. It's app based and has threads very much like this GW arrangement. I made a mental note (among the craziness, yesterday) to come and thank you for all I have learnt here in the last two years.
We are starting a gardening initiatve for us, as we are in lock down (hopefully total, this week). All you have shared and I have learnt over the past two years here, will be put to great use - helping people to plant seeds for hope and grow food.
But really, it's the forum itself I am deeply appreciating. It has taught me so much about conflict and resolution, mass group comms, holding major diversity of views & politics without excluding or demonising, managing PITAs, moderation and shared member responsibility for holding things steady and not letting flare ups knock the whole off balance. You as the major holders, are managing all this. You are often in my mind. I won't be checking in much now, as I am up to my ears in nappies and brown rice, but it's good to know there is a kind place to come back to. Stay home. Stay well. Enjoy the growing world.
Thank you @Fire ... what an amazing post ... a real silver lining in trying times ... this forum really is a special place holding much friendship ... even though most of us have never met each other ... I’d like to wish you much success in your enterprise ... and much fun too ... and don’t forget to pop in from time to time and let us know how you’re getting on ... you know we love a project ((hugs)) 😊

Well done @Fire. Stay safe and well, and good luck to you and those you're helping. The forum will still be here for you, and for any support you need. When people have a common interest and bond, it makes the world a different place. There are still conflicts, but on a small scale, and nothing we can't overcome. Just look at @chicky's pic. What's not to like eh? Makes you smile. I watch the birds every day and think, you're oblivious to all the nonsense and panic, and have no need to fight off the rampant hordes to get your breakfast, or deal with all the selfish a******es either. Apart from the starlings....
Much love again to all the Hosta family on their new arrival.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Congratulations on another successful propagation @Hostafan1
Super, a new gardener is born in the garden of Eden.
