My future son in law works for a company involved in bit coin. Not the faintest notion what it's all about, but they're very , very busy

Did anyone see the Gin maker in Bristol on Channel 4 news last night?
He's making sanitiser gel and giving it away in return for a donation to a children's hospice . Brought tears to my eyes.

There's a couple of places up north which have been making it too @Hostafan1.
Not sure if they're giving it away, or just selling, but these people are doing more than their bit regardless. Pity the same can't be said for the ones who're flogging it on hte internet, or stealing it from hospitals etc.
I feel heart sorry for those in hospices/care homes, and their families,  at the best of times. They need priority care and the staff need help with all the supplies they use. Restrictions on visiting can't be beneficial for anyone, but I understand the reasoning.  :/

    Good luck to them all.

A bit of sympathy for those of us who do have our very meagre portions in various stocks and shares etc (albeit those that were supposed to be very low risk) please @Hostafan1 ... we're not all retired oil barons and city bankers etc.   :'(

A friend on a cooking forum has just posted this ... I don't think she'll mind me sharing it with you  "... ventured out yesterday to the supermarket to buy some compost but it was all gone rolleyes so I went in to buy some veg, although the car park was full, the shop was not over full . It was 8.30am by the time I went to the checkouts . It was heaving, although ten tills were open the queue at each was reaching the back of the shop. There was very little on the shelves. I did get my veg, a loaf, eggs, and a chicken shock when I was waiting in the queue, a couple of staff were looking along the lines of people and anyone who was aged was whisked through and they didn't have to pay for their bits of shopping which I thought was a lovely gesture, Well Done Morrison's you..."

That sort of act is a real silver lining  :)

    Bl**dy brilliant @Dovefromabove.
We're all quick to complain about supermarkets, and all sorts of other things, but they are all under extreme pressure, every day.

City Bankers - that always has connotations - of the Cockney rhyming slang variety.... I'd say you're definitely not a city banker :D
