@josusa47 , that's shocking but I'm not really surprised. Good news from the car dealer though.

The bad news:  50 car owners in my neighbourhood had their tyres slashed overnight.  The police have two young men in custody.

The good news:  A local car dealer has offered to lend five cars free of charge to key workers whose cars have been vandalised.

More good news:  a local family-owned garage has offered to replace the damaged tyres at cost.

A chance to further our education .......... We've received through the door (and yes, it's been quarantined etc) a lovely booklet of things to do to keep us occupied while staying at home.  It's been made by the children of keyworkers who are still attending the school up the road ... some of it is maths!  OH said he looked at it and it felt as if he was watching University Challenge!  Prime numbers and number bonds ... there were no such things as number bonds when I was at school.

We have decided to use the internet to educate ourselves and we will complete this 'homework' set for us by the children 😄  (or try to anyway 🤷‍♀️)

I don't suppose my neighbours will welcome gifts of garden produce this year.  We'll just have to eat it all ourselves.  Tragic. :D

I've been sat outside for a while nursing a whisky. With two small kids permanently locked in the house with us sometimes silence is more valuable than sleep, and it is very very quiet outside right now. Shame the full moon is hidden tonight.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Of course sleep is also appreciated now and then too :|
