@celcius_kkw I wouldn't trust any digital meter. Their mechanism is dependant on moisture and other factors, they are OK for moisture measuring but rarely good for pH.
If you want to be sure, get soil pH testing kit where you get vials, a chemical to mix with your soil and a colour chart to compare.
While some forms of nitrogen can acidify soil, I would assume most multipurpose fertilisers are balanced in different types of N sources and shouldn't have as big effect as soil pH under 5.
The first deficiencies you would see in very acidic soil would be a calcium deficiency and magnesium deficiency. You can google how these look but your roses don't look deficient to me.
Just to show you the type of soil tests mentioned above, these are my results (two different locations, one heavily amended, one without amendments) and they are what I would expect.
'Empereur Charles IV' a floribunda by Lens Roses. I expected a much colder colour from it and slightly less full blooms. Maybe it will fade towards colder pink/magenta. Cupped blooms in clusters on an upright plant.
It is said to have "strong, lily of the valley, myrrh fragrance" but I've heard from people growing it that the fragrance is disappointing. For me, it's certainly there and it is very unique and pleasant and I would agree with the "lily of the valley, myrrh" part but the strength is more medium than strong (maybe 6 or 7 out of 10).
Love that Iceberg rose @AlliumPurpleSensation, rather wish I'd bought that instead of Claire Austin, the shape of the flowers is more to my taste. Sometimes you just can't beat the old favourites!
Two roses I love. Papa Meiland on the left, the biggest one. It has a stronger fragrance for me and the colour is much more of a red tone. Munstead wood on the right. Wonderful shape and seems to be going to have loads of blooms. Both planted this year.
I have a question for more experienced growers of once-blooming roses. Should I deadhead in their first year? I like hips but assume that the energy that goes into growing them could go into producing new canes for the next year. If it isn't significant difference, I would prefer to let them form.
@edhelka Thank you for the advice in soil pH.. my roses are all looking healthy at the moment.. although they initially seemed to lag behind other people’s roses at the beginning and I wondered if that could have been due to the pH or simply because of my location further north and higher up.. ha!

Comte de chambord, this flower has took around 2 weeks to fully open
I always deadhead.
