    My mind is blown that you haven't been growing roses for years on your balcony @celcius_kkw .

    @Tack I’ve got all the best mentors here after all! And I am known to be a bit over-generous with my fertilising regime 😜

    @Marlorena I love seeing these non Austin roses.. it’s so inspiring to know that there are roses out there that are not DA but are equally and sometimes better.. that the rose world is so much bigger than what I previously thought. I’ve got to keep a note of all the ones I like from now on for when I can realise my retirement plan of owning a garden size of an acre (or more!) 😊😁

    @Marlorena the colours of your Eisvogel are divine! It looks a beautiful rose, I have never seen it before

    I've just ordered a rose from Peter Beales, almost £30 with shipping and 3-4 weeks wait, tough times for impatient rosarians.
    @Marlorena I can't get enough of your Tottering with c. durandii, it's such a pretty combination.
    I want to buy a clematis (or 4 of them) and everything everywhere is sold out :( I hope this will get better by autumn. I don't need them now but want them for autumn/winter planting with roses.

    ...thanks for your note on my other thread.. so kind.. and G Thomas is gorgeous, such a rich glowing colour... it will want to climb in a year or so..

    @celcius_kkw
    ...You have a great sense of design I feel, and one day I just know you will have a rose acre, and accept paying guests... you will of course let me in free of charge...
    ...I'm near 100 percent certain your yellow is 'Korresia'...it should have red stamens.. it seems too good to be anything else..
    @rock_hen
    ...I got it from Germany, so not available here yet unfortunately... the scent is wonderful too..
    @edhelka
    ...thanks, I like it too.. I was thinking of ordering a clematis but now I don't think I will.
    ...I recently got a rose from Beales, it took just over 3 weeks... which one are you getting please?  unless you'd rather not say, sometimes we like to keep things a surprise I know that..

    @Tack
    ..I've just noticed your roses.. great colour on Bathsheba... I hope you'll be pleased with it... can be a bit iffy in heavy rain, but so many are..

    @Marlorena Paul Transon. I decided not to think too hard about my pergola dilemma. I plan to pot it to a small/medium pot for now and let it grow a bit over summer and then put it where I have The Generous Gardener now and move TGG to the front to climb next to a window and above it. Of course, TGG started to grow better the day after I decided to replace it :D I should do this scaring tactic more often.

    @edhelka
    ..Oh I was wanting Paul Transon, but I'm out of room anyway... some places sell it as 'Paul Noel' but it's the same rose,... it repeat blooms very well apparently..
    ..when I had The GG, I had to wait 3 years before it took off and started to climb, then it didn't stop... got too much for my spot..
