Thanks @Marlorena my husband put up the solar lights a couple of weeks ago. The border edging is just some pre-made ones I picked up a few years ago that you hammer into the ground.
This was when I first made it about 5 years ago. None of those plants are there anymore though....mostly due to the chickens.
My first bud is starting to open on Charles Austin. Really loving the colours and can't wait to see it fully open.
Also had 2 new ones arrive today. Royal Jubilee with lots of buds on and a lovely healthy plant. I really can't fault DA so far.
And also Leonardo da Vinci that I saw on the agel-rosen site as being rain resistant. Managed to find it from a UK seller. Only ordered Saturday.
First Bathsheba flower - will go in for a snog later, requires very careful manoeuvring through the herb bed which I wasn’t happy to do when not fully awake!
Emily Bronte
Lady of Shalott
Mortimer Sackler
Royal Jubilee
Munstead Wood
Malvern Hills and Etoile Violette
Scarborough Fair and Salvia Mainacht - which is great, was recommended on this forum to me as a good repeat flowerer and it has gone on for ages now.
Vanessa Bell and Kew Gardens in there somewhere! Bathsheba is planted just in front of that centre fence post and will be trained across the fence left and right.
...it's not far short of a snog when you think about it.. I like your Echinaceas too Mr Vine Eye... great pictures..
@poppyfield64 ..nice bright pink edging, thanks for showing.. I wouldn't bump into that in the dark that's for sure.. that's a cute bed of plants, shame the chickens got to them.. ...lovely roses, delighted you got Royal Jubilee. Austins know how to send out great roses in pots, they put most others to shame on that front, let's be honest.. Looking forward to seeing more of Charles Austin too...
@edhelka ..your Albrighton Rambler is now very clearly that rose isn't it? I know we were puzzling over it last year as the blooms may not have been typical then...
Your garden is looking fabulous @Mr. Vine Eye, nobody will judge you if you want to snog your roses 😆. I planned to get a load of Mainacht this year to replace what for me is an underwhelming Caradonna, but will have to wait ‘til next year now. It does look lovely with roses.
@Pete.8 there are two sources of Marie Nabonnard I know of in Europe, let me know if you are still interested and I will look up the links.
EDIT - oops just noticed, the above was meant for @peteS, not Pete.8
Look what’s turned up after all that rain! Must have been planted by previous owner, what a weird place to put a rose, it’s growing out of what must be a tiny pocket of soil on a rock face! I assume it’s an HT since virtually all roses sold here are. Has a nice fragrance. Will have to mark the spot and attempt a rescue in the autumn.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
No B&M over here, sadly @Mr. Vine Eye and few perennials in GCs - they are usually shrubs, a sad selection of HTs and a sea of bedding - so I have to order 9cm pots from France, which wasn’t a goer this year.

I've just bought a "Flower Carpet" rose (one of those spur of the moment moments), it looked very floriferous with small bright red blooms, so I couldn't resist it. Has anyone any experience of growing one and would it be suitable for a medium sized pot, at least for the short term. @Nollie...yes I will be interested in any contacts regarding MN, I've been told it might be too big for my original position, but I have plans for next year.

Smells like Fisherman's Friend lozenges! Which I remember as the horrible things my Dad used to have.
Lovely colour though!
