    @Tack
    ...just to say thanks so much.. I still look in but no time to post much... garden is rubbish anyway as I've had to remove 60 feet of roses and shrubs... hard work these days... my Ghislaine de Feligonde had to come right out, so I have to get a new one... I've left one rose in as I refuse to remove it, so I've tied it away from the fence... work should be completed early next week rain permitting..

    ..still, an opportunity to start afresh...  speak soon..

    @Marlorena, nice to hear from you. This must be hard work and your Ghislaine de Feligonde was so beautiful. Please post photos of new fence and border progress soon.

  • Thanks @newbie77

    Lovely photos @tack and @Nollie

    I have the same pooch problem.  Pup has managed to dig up all my bulbs that I had potted up last weekend.  I think I'm going to try manure in the garden this winter.  Luckily the patio and garden are separated by a picket fence and we generally don't let the dogs in the garden during the winter as it's far too muddy.

    Can't believe you had to dig up your GdeF @Marlorena it was such a beauty.  I'm sure whatever goes there next will be equally as beautiful.  It was your photos that inspired to get 2 of them.

  • @Tack Sorry for the MIA.. work has been well busy.. I’ve been getting home late consistently and the weather in Liverpool has been tropically wet and very windy.. I just haven’t had as much time to look after my roses properly let alone snap any pics.. I have some annual leave coming up soon so fingers crossed I could do more gardening then.. I have been following this thread in the background though enjoying all the lovely pictures 😊

    I do miss the extended daylight in summer where I could still do some gardening even when I got home after 7pm..

    Thank you @Nollie and @edhelka lots of lovely things still. Nothing large and pink tempting me there Nollie :D Would you mind explaining what you've done and intend to do with those hips edhelka please. Your garden has great Autumn interest.

    @celcius_kkw, thank you for replying, that's a shame you are so busy that gardening time is squeezed but I totally get the evening thing. Pottering in the late light in the summer is a particular pleasure. Fingers crossed here for Liverpool, I  hope the situation is not too anxious-making.
