Thank you very much @Lizzie27 and @Victoria Sponge ! My MW is somewhat awkward shape as well, I'm desperately hoping for some basals next year, to whom do I need to pray to to get this to happen  :D I like seeing the same roses growing in different gardens. Your Ness looks lovely and healthy, that glossy foliage is very nice.

Stunning photos, @Omori and a nice combination.
Great orders everyone too, I am looking forward to seeing Perle d'Or... it was on my list for some time but that list is way too long.
I still need to order from Trevor White and I am too agonizing over it. I wish I had more space for once-bloomers. Some corner of a big garden where they could have their moment of glory and then simply blend into other greenery.
  • Lovely photos, making me feel both inspired and inadequate at the same time! @Omori Lady Emma Hamilton looks so lovely - I was pondering her as my apricot/orange for next year, but of course, I've missed the boat now she's been withdrawn :(

@Pianoplayer - You can still buy her as a bare root from https://www.tuincentrumlottum.nl/ Thats where I've ordered her.

  • @Katsa Thanks very much! I thought that no-one would be able to supply it now.

...if you want to get it from DA here, you still can by pre-order... it hasn't quite disappeared as yet..  there are other suppliers in the UK too, if you don't want to import..

  • @Marlorena many thanks. I must admit to confusion and dither between LEH, LoS and Roald Dahl. I like LEH's dark glossy foliage, but not clear on the differences between the three growth habits/forms. Any expert insights gratefully received!
