@FlyDragon it’s the view of the Liverpool skyline ☺️
It seems in the north west we now have rain forecasted followed by wind on Friday.. I’ve brought in a few blooms as goodness knows what will happen to them after this week.. I didn’t want to cut all the blooms though as I could still partially enjoy the view of my balcony from the bedroom..
Here I have Roald Dhal and Munstead Wood in a glass.. with my tomato seedlings hardening away in the background.

Argh I knew that older building looked familiar, its one of the Graces, the Liver building right? Kicking myself now!
As promised, tons of photos. I will post some general garden photos and some other plants to Garden Gallery thread later in the evening if anyone is interested in more.
1st, some rose newbies.
'Claire Jolly', a dwarf hybrid musk rose (bred by Lens) in the small grey pot (the rose in the terracotta-coloured pot is 'Our Beth'). I think this could easily be classed as polyantha, it is a mix of multiflora, Ballerina and The Fairy. It should only grow to 50-60cm.

'La Belle Rouge' finally flowering.
Bred by Vissers and officially classed as floribunda/shrub (I guess floribundas are easier to sell these days) but from what I know it could be classed as hybrid musk or hybrid multiflora. It has the multiflora hybrid look and it has the typical fringed stipules.
I think it will be a good rebloomer, it pushes many new flowering sideshoots from leave axils. Maybe it would even climb if encouraged. I am tempted to put it in the ground with an obelisk to see what it can do.
I have Burgundy Ice too @Bijdezee, in its second summer. I also find it very spindly and am not overwhelmed with it so far although I do like the colour.
I have a young Gallica officinalis @peteS, but this is its first year so see what others say. It's in bud at the mo and was my slowest to get going of the ones planted last winter but is doing ok now.
Some taken before the weather arrived, I'm glad it's raining though, supplies and pond were getting low.
Rhapsody in Blue
Celebration 2000
Lilac Bouquet, a small climber in its 2nd year, reserving judgement.
The lovely Tuscany (regular, not superb) with a pet ant. I'll post an update when it's flowering properly as I cut it back last year after advice from Marlorena and it's much improved.
Celestial, appears to have been stabbed with a pin. Most looking forward to seeing this in full flower. It's in its third year and to my eyes has an elegant and pleasing manner of growth.
Rosa rugosa 'Rosarie De L'Hay' (not in my garden). I really love this one, beautiful flower colour and shape and nicer foliage than usual roses IMO. I want it but it's a bit big for my garden perhaps? Maybe 'Hansa' would be a better choice for me?
