My worst DA nodder is Harlow Carr, need to get on the floor to see it properly. Munstead Wood does it too, but less so and I forgive it for the colour and scent. Some are better than others but it does seem to be a known characteristic. Pruning helps, I find - I cut any weak stems to the ground, cut right back any long octopus canes the bush throws up (after flowering) and prune by up to a half in winter. For some reason I forgot to do Lady Emma Hamilton and this year it’s really droopy!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@valerieroberts ...lovely rose Valerie, I'm delighted you are pleased with it, and I hope you can smell that strong fragrance... ...for some strange reason, they changed the name of your rose recently, to something like Synactif by Shiseido, which makes it sound like a Cosmetic doesn't it?...
@celcius_kkw which city is it that you have that gorgeous view of, if you don't mind me asking?
Finally got some flowers going now! Blue for you fully opened, and a lovely orange rose that I don't actually know what it is. Its a standard and I vaguely recall it may have been called celebration something...

I'm glad they are between flushes as hopefully won't end up with rain and wind damage over the next week as temp drops x
