To those who say they won't have the Covid jab because they had a bad reaction last time, I would ask them to think how bad the 'real thing' may be by comparison.
KT53, I am 27,of course (I will actually be 37tomorrow. Posted a couple of months ago, I hadn't had a Covid symptom or positive test. I am in a 5 year Covidence study, gave blood tests. Hadn't had a cough or cold for over 15 years, actually a lot longer than that. Grandkids have stayed, been ill, we've all tested, they have gone down with it several times, and their mum . Last month after MUCH deliberations,we got a puppy,THEN Covid!!! I had flu once followed by pneumonia, but this was FAR worse! Felt really ill 3 days, then one symptom went, another appears. Two full weeks before we started feeling better. Fully vaccinated. Daughter and other granny who has bad asthma both said the first time is the worst. Hubby has hypertension and I was diagnosed with a tumor in May, have read that both these things can make Covid nastier.
The Gov Uk site says this COVID is very difficult to diagnose as it’s the same as an ordinary cold now. I think today will be my last COVID jab. I will continue with the flu jab.

It is still killing a lot of people, and it will continue to mutate, if you are eligible for the vaccine, I think you would be mad not to have it. Everyone I know looking after people with the virus, plus everyone on the various bodies I have been part of, who plan for the management of the virus are having every shot they can. The virus is only getting milder, because people are vaccinated, and vaccine efficacy decreases with time.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team

Just because the symptoms are the same, does not mean the disease course is the same.

The only good thing to come out of the pandemic is that OH and I have not had a heavy cold since it started tho OH was a bit snuffly last week.
