  • Has anyone heard of or experienced the symptoms of any/all:  body tremors, palpitations, awareness of pulse coursing through the body (including pounding in ears) as either a symptom of COVID/ post-covid or a complication of COVID?

@clematisdorset if somebody has some or all of those symptoms they need to consult their GP or call 111.  I certainly wouldn't look to a gardening forum for medical advice or information.

    I agree there.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • It does a bit @B3, thank you.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick @KT53. I enquired about others' EXPERIENCES.

Re my question about having to wait for 15 minutes after having the Covid/Flu jab, my OH and l have just returned from having ours.
We were literally "done" at the same time on opposite sides of the community hall.
I was asked was l feeling well, was l on any blood thinning medication, had l ever had a reaction to the vaccines on a previous occasion, and was l allergic to eggs.
As l was leaving she told me that if l was driving, sit in the car for 10 minutes before setting off.

OH was asked if he was feeling well, and that was it. He was the one driving !
He did give it around 5 minutes, but that was only because l'd mentioned it.
    We arrived home unscathed.

    Very interesting, our different experience.

The in-laws are recovering from Covid. Both are classed as quite vulnerable and have pulled through very well considering. It speaks well of the booster campaign. On the other hand we've had a letter from our kid's school saying that the flu vaccine take-up has been less than the Public Health Target of 75% minimum. It's only a nasal spray at their age. I don't want to get into an anti-vaxxer argument again but society is taking big steps backwards IMO.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Measles outbreaks in a few places as well, people have stopped having the MMR vaccine.
I have looked after people with Measles encephalitis, they don't do well.
How can you lie there and think of England

I used to work with a woman who became deaf after having measles as a child.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
