I wasn't asked if I was driving (I wasn't) but everyone seemed to be leaving straight away regardless, and some were certainly heading for the car park at the side of the surgery. There were some seats for waiting your turn but no area designated for waiting afterwards. I had Pfizer.

Thank you all for your responses. I won't be driving but my OH will. We haven't had any bad reactions to previous Covid/Flu jabs, but if he's asked to wait l will just have to hang around. I like people watching so that will pass the time
I wasn't asked to wait, but I was asked if I'd ever had any bad reactions. I hadn't and came straight home and I was driving. Jab in each arm and only slight soreness for a day or two. Didn't know about the fainting, so not irresponsible on my part!
We were told to wait for 15 minutes before driving. We went to the farm shop next door before heading home. Occurred to me at the time that the farm shop might have had to deal with a few faintings. Most of us who’d gone for their jabs took the opportunity to have a wander round the food hall, and buy a few goodies.
We had our latest covid and flu jabs at a small out of town pharmacy and I don't remember being asked if either of us were driving. We didn't wait but had a five minute or so walk back to the car before OH drove off. We've never had any dizzy feelings after covid jabs.
When I had the first jab I was told to wait 15 minutes, but after 5 minutes somebody said I could go. Never been asked if I was driving and have left immediately after all subsequent jabs - and driven.
When I first had the vaccines I was asked to stay for 15 minutes. Especially as I'd had a bad reaction to the first one. We were asked to stay whether driving or walking too. But haven't been asked for the last two.
