    Sorry @steveTu, but my ICU colleagues are telling a different story, they are already overwhelmed.
    @Papi Jo is correct.

    I'm sorry but that image is totally misleading. Corrected version below:

    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    What's the difference?😕
    Do we get a prize if we can spot it?

    I'm not sure I'm with you - what different story? I thought the NHS had what, 4000 critical care beds - is that right? And that they are trying to ramp up the facilities.And I know that the NHS will be swamped. That is what is being spoken about all the time. What 'story' did I tell that was counter to that?

    It probably would have been easier if my post hadn't started a new page :|

    Yes there are about 4000 ICU beds, they normally run at about 96% occupancy, there are currently large numbers of COVID 19 patients needing ICU beds, the idea that we can magically increase that number of beds and other equipment, plus the doctors and nurses with suitable training, is a fanciful government ploy, to stop people panicking.  [ which I whole heartedly approve of ]
    Maybe I got what you said wrong, but You seemed to be saying that there really won't be many deaths at all, and you cannot confidently predict that.

    B3, do you remember the classic scene in the Harrison Ford movie ‘Witness’ in which the senior member of the Amish community announces ‘We have a barn to build a day to do it.’? The extent of the barn shadows shows it was already close to noon - those Amish do like a long lie in.

    The difference between the two poster pictures is the shadow of the house.  The sun's position make the shadow impossible in the first picture which has been corrected in the second one.  I don't know if it was accidental or deliberate - but we need some puzzles/riddles etc to lighten the gloom, perhaps.
