I think the current concern is about non covid deaths, it's not fiction or paranoia. Could be many things, after effects of covid, the vaccines, difficulty accessing medical care and anything else you can think of.

  • I have to admit that I asked my dad not to get a fifth Covid jab if his doctors tries to convince him to get it. After the third jab, he told me that he had suddenly blue hands on the way home and didn't feel comfortable. After the fourth jab in September, he deteriorated and had to go the hospital 2 weeks later with a valvular heart defect. I had like others thought it might be down to age, but 4 weeks later, I read in a newspaper that they are investigating why in particular men get increased valvular heart defects after the fourth Covid jab.
Additionally, Covid is over, no need to have that vaccine that was made in 2020 for a different type of Covid.
I personally felt already uncomfortable with the third jab, which was the Pfizer one. I was happy with the AZ, but took the Pfizer jab in Oct 2021 knowing it was wrong and I shouldn't do it, but I wanted to see my parents in 2022. The bloody Germans were so persistent what vaccination and more concerns. I had to show my vaccinations at the Airport otherwise I was not allowed to enter the country.
They didn't allow people who were not vaccinated to enter pharmacies, restaurants and other locations, just supermarkets. I heard that many of the measurements they legalized in 2021 are now a matter for the courts.

@punkdoc There have been with the first jabs reports about age related issues and restrictions for all jab types due to side-effects.
And if my father is one of the exceptions that have a side-effect of the jabs, being his daughter, I might be allowed to protect him.
[Addition: my dad has got a heart problem and getting blue hands after the third jab is definitely a sign that there was something going onto the wrong direction]

What you describe as Covid is what it was in 2020 and until Delta in 2021. That's why I took both AZ vaccines.
Since then, it mutated to something that doesn't cause more issues than a common bad (!) flu.

Over the last 2 years, we learned that with our lifestyle, we have no chance to get Covid, and even iwhen we were surrounded by people with Covid, we didn't get it.
That is no miracle or doesn't mean that others shouldn't get it, but this was part of many studies that were done in the recent 3 years to find out why half of the people didn't get it even they were exposed like others.

It was reported a day or two ago that rates are on the increase again up here, after being stable.
I'll be taking everything available to me. No question.

You say your father already had a heart valve problem
I said that my father has a heart issue. A heart valve problem is something different.

The only reason people are getting less severe illness, is the high degree of immunisation.

Immunisation can have an impact but this also doesn't work for everybody. There have been enough studies that showed that the immunisation in higher ages have not that impact.

This is only one of the recent articles about this question.

I read in November in the BMJ that there was a new study about fourth Covd jab and increase in heart issues. Sorry, I can't keep all the links just to proof that scientists are not wrong in what they do.

I think we are right to question everything. Blind acceptance isn't the way to go. Censorship isn't the way to go. Covid is new, the vaccines are new, there must be many things we still don't know and will eventually find out (I hope)
