It all gets a bit more confusing as my sis also told my brother about getting a 5th jab, so his wife (68 with no serious health condition) phoned a Brighton vaccination centre to book, and they told her that she wasn't eligible and neither was her mother (90 year old with various complaints), but my brother was (70 and no serious health condition). They (my SIL, her mum and my bro) were all fully vaccinated (ie 4 jabs so far). So now we're waiting to see what happens when he goes for the jab!
We don't have this problem here - we get informed by letter of the appointments. You only have to phone, or go online, if you can't make the one you're given and need to change it.

@B3, we've just had the same (or similar). Didn't test although I do still have some spare ones in the cupboard (not sure what I'm hoarding them for!). As long as you don't get near anyone vulnerable, I wouldn't bother to test. We just stayed at home apart from a short attendance one day at a friend's funeral where I wore a mask and didn't go to the wake.
Yes there are a lot of nasty bugs going round. My wife is unwell for the 3rd time since just before Christmas, I have been ill twice so far. Tested negative for covid each time.
I have a virus.seems like a bad cold to me. Apart from satisfying my curiosity, is there any point in finding out whether or not it's Covid?
No point testing but I have been recommending to my family that if you have a cold/virus then assume it might be covid and don’t socialise or see vulnerable people. It’s a shame people didn’t do that pre-covid really.

Hope you feel better soon.
