OH tested positive for Covid this morning and his booster jab was due next Monday. He will now have to wait a couple of weeks for his next booster jab. Symptoms rather like a mild dose of the flu. I think you have to be five days clear of covid before you can have a booster jab.
  • That’s unfortunate timing, I hope he soon feels better. And that you don’t catch it.

No sign of any flu or Covid jags here.
In Scotland we have to wait for a letter with an appointment. Wish I could just go online and book.

Nothing about Covid vaccination here in Wales, (though I have had a flu jab at Boots.) It’s disappointing
I have had a letter from BCUHB, about my covid jab at the doc's on 7 Oct. Flu jab at same time.

Those here in  England, are you being offered jabs at GPs' surgeries? At the moment North London jabs seem to be only to be offered through chemists.

No covid injections being done at our GP surgery this year @Fire. None available to my knowledge via chemists either. Just on line appointments available to us.

I am registered as "highly vulnerable" health-wise, so I have been offered a jab, to book or walk in at chemists (but none close to me at the moment. I imagine the picture will change over the autumn/winter).

I'm hoping that I didn't catch anything in the waiting room. It was really stuffy.

We are lucky to have a dedicated Vaccination centre just outside Exeter. During the initial phase, a big warehouse was built on a nearby industrial estate, and offered booked and walk in appointments. The centre has now moved to a smaller building nearby, and we were able to book appointments on line. Our GP surgery didn’t do any then or now, although teams from the surgery went out to local nursing homes. Our flu jabs are carried out at the surgery, so we won’t be able to have both flu and Covid jabs at the same time
