The difference between the two poster pictures is the shadow of the house. The sun's position make the shadow impossible in the first picture which has been corrected in the second one. I don't know if it was accidental or deliberate - but we need some puzzles/riddles etc to lighten the gloom, perhaps.
Well-spotted, @Shrinking Violet I hope this mistake doesn't detract from the overall message, however. Forgot to mention the name of this pic. French artist Mathieu Persan.
Very interesting @Nollie, I wonder why the Brits and the Spanish are behaving so differently. I also think the way you are approaching the disease is the right way to go. With OH now working from home, we are going to be doing exactly the same, except she will be doing the shopping, to try and protect me.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
The nhs is still providing counselling for patients.they are seeing if they want to do it over the phone instead of face to face which is not allowed at the present time.this isn't always an answer or appropriate but it's still available
I think it’s probably more accurate to say the Catalans are behaving differently, @punkdoc, they are very different, culturally, a much quieter and more self-contained people, despite finding it difficult to keep the social distance when chatting and queuing outside the chemist, but observing it within. I hear tales of panic buying down south in Andalucia. The are far more expats there, though, coincidence?! It is fascinating to observe the different cultural attitudes. Our neighbours couldn’t understand the initial ‘squashing the sombrero’ approach either, contrary to practically every other country’s response to containment.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Regarding the elderly,my mum will not last 12 weeks!she has my dad who has dementia who has a grasp on what's going on then forgets.she is used to getting out for a break. Reading the government website does anyone understand the bit about visiting them?the way I read it as long as none of us have any symptoms and no kisses or hugs, keep 6ft away we can go and see them?! We are arranging morrisons food delivery hopefully for them in 2 to 3 weeks.they get medication delivered.
