KT53, hubby found a better thermometer in the cupboard.. the first one was a flimsy one,it said lo battery, I had no reason to doubt it. This one is much sturdier easy to use. Yes, showing 37.5c today, I run at 36 so slightly up for me. Took paracetamol, trouble is I have a hiatus hernia which gives me dreadful heartburn, and I have been feeling so nauseous. I forced down a table spoon full of yogurt.
B3,was the yuck because you don't like yogurt? I had to have something, I avoided painkillers as far as possible, but it wasn't an option. All my friends who are in their late 60s early 70s said they did nothing but sleep... night and day. I can't get comfortable in bed. Normally I sleep on my stomach, can't do that with a blocked nose and banging headache,so sitting upright in bed is alien for a start.
Appointments have started in Wales. Postal invitation. They seem to be doing mini ‘mass’ vaccination centres. Flu is being done by GPs, some pharmacies, plus ‘in-house’ sessions for NHS workers.
Hello , had my Covid jab this morning , booked via HNS app on internet while on holiday at a vaccination clinic Very efficient , not only got a card , a general leaflet and an information sheet about the vaccine used So far had a mild headache , took a paracetamol and ok

We had our appt letters yesterday (Pembrokeshire) , seems quaint. Friends had to ring to rearrange as they will be away. We have a family get together for mum's 94th on 7th oct, unfortunately our appts are after that (though I had Covid in May so may still have some resistance) Mum’s vaccination is on 4th Oct, (GP surgery in England) and unfortunately they told her they couldn’t bring it forward. In the meantime, my grandaughter has just been allowed home from hospital (was admitted on Monday), she becomes very ill with any cold type virus, turns out that she has covid, as does my daughter. They were at a wedding on Saturday, such a shame that any social event affects some people very badly. But it would be awful to stop all activities…
