I'm in negotiations at the moment for keeping live mealworms in the fridge. I have to maintain a stock of live food for my lizard in case supplies run out and the mealworms are the only long-term live food I can keep but they have to be kept very cold to prevent them pupating. I bought the smallest ones I could find but they're growing too fast now the weather is warming up.

I have a box full of old seed. It's a good time to have a clear out and sow some to see if they are still viable. Next year might have a garden full of foxglove. 😁
I don’t know much about lizards, but can you dig up worms or trap a few mice for them if it come to it? I think my kitten is going to have to get used to having a pee in the garden, I don’t know what everyone’s doing with cat litter but there’s none to be had.

Got my fortnightly order from T*sco today. Bagged and left on the doorstep as Tesco had classed me as in the high risk group. Driver from the road apologised profusely for missing items. Got chicken but no chocolate or biscuits. Wondering if the stores are prioritising shelf deliveries to essential items rather than comfort food. If so, kudos to them.

She'll eat moths and crane flies but wild food has too much of a parasite risk. She used to eat a lot of wildlife when I was a kid though and it never seemed to do her any harm. It was harder to buy live food in those days.

Lots of seeds here, recent and older but a shortage of trays in which to sow them. Might have to get inventive.
