@Skylarks if you click on @mother_goose you can see a photo of a man on a horse. In his profile he says he's a retired landscape gardener. You can't see any of his posts though 🤔🤔🤷♀️

That is very odd 🤔. MG is a ghost that haunts these forums 😱
I understood from the TV that a huge percentage of people have had it and not known, or had it and been asymptomatic. I would be surprised if it does give immunity because the normal seasonal flu mutates yearly so you have to have a new vac every year. As for the contact tracking, I dont possess a smart phone, and I gather that the ones over 3 years old do not work with the app anyway. Plus it relies on folk being honest, reporting symptoms, they may well not for whatever reason, OR, they may report symptoms they dont have.
In terms of immunity I think it's more or less settled that when you successfully recover from infection, the antibodies you create in order to do so will give you a period of 'immunity'. But as you say we don't know how long term this will be. Hopefully long enough that we can develop better treatments or ideally a vaccine, or at least develop better ways of controlling the spread of the virus such as contact tracing.
I heard the smartphone tracking app requires min. 60% uptake, not every person needs it. It will be coupled with community tracking (as they are doing already fairly successfully in South Africa). Seems likely some forms of social distancing will still need to be in place.

Dove, the common cold is a coronavirus, but aparently you never catch the same one twice, there are 2000, different ones,I probably shouldnt say this, but I cant remember the last time I had a cold.
