I am unaware of any evidence that it can enter via the ears, but I suppose it must be a very remote possibility.
How can you lie there and think of England

Depends who you're whispering them to. :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I have heard from several people that Spain is much stricter than we are on lockdown rules and mask wearing so any idea why they have another spike?

@debs64 A friend of mine lives in Spain and she has told many times how strict it is out there.  Since lockdown they have had to wear masks and carry identification with them. Only being allowed out for necessities. If going to hospital/Doctors carrying proof of appointments. They have only recently been able to go out together......earlier on only on their own even in the car and appointments. There were curfews and fines if not keeping to the rules.
She thinks it's because of the clubs/bars/restaurants being open and the younger generation abusing social distancing. Places have now been closing again. She doesn't live in a popular holiday destination either.

Such a shame when they have all been so good. Can we expect something similar soon then? After all the BLM marches and pubs all being open and all those photos of crowded beaches? From my own experience many people have not been social distancing for weeks yet no adverse effects so far? Maybe just waiting around the corner? I do hope not.

Face masks - I’m glad it has been imposed in shops. It’s more essential than pubs and restaurants where you can’t wear a mask obviously but I can choose not to go and take possible extra risk, which might be negligible because they have good distance or Perspex barriers in place. Safety at work are considering their ventilation systems and use of space too.

There are no absolutes of safe and unsafe with masks, with distance of 2m or 1m. It’s part of a package of measures and it’s about reducing risk wherever possible. Do what you can to be as stringent as possible within your control.

I actually started using my sewing machine for the first time since it was bought 10 years ago!
