I get the list @B3 except for the shoes with heels? My bus pass suffered long ago from warring local authorities, no need to withdraw them just cancel the buses. But heeled shoes

Bras!  I haven't worn a bra all summer, no one to bother with aside from my family!

As far as I know, you can still take old notes to a bank to have them changed.  Worth a try anyway, @pansyface.   :)

Ive had three £20 notes and a £2 coin in my purse since March. The coin has gone dull. Like pearls, they need contact with your skin, perhaps.
I'd say getting the notes spent would be harder than converting a €50 note - ever tried that?

I have had an expensive week: £20 for each of the three bin collecting gangs (green, grey, black) as a thank you for working throughout the COVID crisis and the customary £3 tip for the Tesco delivery driver. My problem these days is getting £1 and £2 coins so I can tip the Tesco driver.

I took out a bunch of those old £20 notes in March, just before ropedown.

Does anybody know if, when I ever get out of here, I shall still be able to use them as coin of the realm or have they already joined the ranks of the farthing and the halfpenny? (Worth about as much anyway.)
Paper notes can still be used and as yet no date has been given for their withdrawal.
You will still be able to use the paper £20 note until the Bank of England withdraw it from circulation. They will give six months’ notice of this withdrawal date.

My school district released it's Covid-19 plan today.. here is the detailed and specific protocols for classroom set up:

And that is all it has on the page(!).  Whelp.. I'm sure it will all run smoothly, with such great planning and safety guidelines in place.  🤷🏻‍♀️

  • @Blue Onion which mask spacer thing did you buy if you don’t mind sharing and does it work?

cleaning and physical distancing is best but I work with people who I’ve seen spit when they talk. Who sit next to you when they should know better. Common sense isn’t that common.
