OH and I both had Spikevax ( Moderna) in September, and OH also had Spikevax for his over 75 spring booster back in May.

I've heard of Noddy Holder  :)

The names on that list would be enough for me not to want to live anywhere near.  With the exception of Noddy Holder.

So it sounds like there is Moderna out there, we just have to find it. I hope she doesn't react as badly to Moderna or we are stuffed.
Interestingly, we were handed a leaflet before we entered the vax centre which said we offer two vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna. Except they didn't. It was a doctor at the centre who spoke with my OH who said the Govt had only supplied Pfizer.

An article about Long Covid. In the middle of ME, I also wondered, like other sufferers, if I had had a stroke.

    An interesting thought Fire.

I know one thing for sure I won't be having the Pfizer vaccine again. Twice now I've had quite bad side effects. I reported on here that during the night after having the jab I woke up wondering what was wrong with me, felt really feverish and dreadfully achy. Next morning I felt as bright as a button but as the day went on I became fuzzy headed and forgetful and by teatime I couldn't remember what I'd written in an email that I'd sent a few minutes before. I began to think I'd had a mini stroke.
The next day I felt absolutely fine, my head clear and bright. I must say that I was quite worried.

So far so good with the Pfizer side effects. My arm is very sore (much worse than from last week's flu jab) and I'm maybe a bit more tired/lethargic than normal, but nothing else. Maybe I'm lucky.

We are both lucky, no bad effects from any of the jabs we've had, Pfizer, AZ or Moderna, apart from slightly sore arms.

Your reaction doesn't sound at all nice @Uff.

I've just been having another look at the leaflet that we got yesterday. It says to read it all carefully before you have the vaccine! Fat chance, I wasn't given it until afterwards and in any case it's 4 sides of A4.
It also says "If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse". Seriously? Does anyone actually do that? Including things identified as very common or common side effects like sore arm, tiredness, feeling a bit flu-ey (aches and pains, headache, tiredness, feverishness) etc? I don't think I'd bother unless something was very bad and still not improving after several days, or if it was clearly a medical emergency like anaphylaxis.

I can put up with the aches and feverishness but the effects the next day were horrible Lizzie27. Strange thing is I didn't have redness or a sore arm, the nurse was very gentle.
