Telegraph today suggests that the Jubilee get-togethers have fuelled a rise in Covid cases - as expected.

We didn't bother to report our positive tests.

Caught a bug on a plane. I can tell I'm headed for a tickly cough. Have shivers. Seems like a bog standard cold to me..  Had some N H S tests left over but they seem to be drying up. Had to use two to get enough for the solution to drop out.
Test negative but I'm not entirely convinced.
    Two questions:
Not working. Is there any point in testing apart from curiosity?
Where's a good place to buy cheap accurate tests if necessary?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I don't think there's any point in testing if not working. As you can get it again it doesn't even tell you you're safe for a while. Just keep to yourself for a few days

I have Covid at the moment but it's on the mend. Daughter did a home test on me which was positive but I can't have another from the district nurse to make it official as we have had a huge hailstorm and the 2 nurses cars have been trashed and over 2000 local homes are without rooves. Thank God mine is OK but garden is a complete mess. I'm in Dordogne, France.

It has been like a bad feverish cold with extra tiredness and dizziness. No loss of sense of smell. Nuisance not being able to go to the SM, thank goodness for kind neighbour and the freezer. We came back from the UK on Monday. I felt awful on Tuesday and OH didn't feel too good either.

I've had 3 vaccinations, OH has had 4.

There’s no obligation to test. The official numbers will be massively less because people don’t test but the officials should be able to work that out for themselves.
I would keep semi-isolated if you have any bug. Feel better soon COVID and poorly people.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

I still get test kits free from gov.uk

Oh, that’s interesting, hogweed. I didn’t realise you could still get them free - I thought you now had to pay for tests?
