    Morning all/afties Pat.
Dreich here again. I took the opportunity to put some weed/feed on the back grass yesterday. It's having 'renovation' but that's on hold as I can't get the stuff to do it, so it's now looking very non grassy, as there was more moss than grass there too, despite the aspect. Perfect conditions for it to work, so as long as it warms up a little bit,  at least I can sit and literally watch the grass grow....
@punkdoc -Brilliant. A few months ago, it would have been a different member of the family down that end  ;)
Did you see @wild edges' link on one of the other threads yesterday? His comment about English folk self isolating in their 2nd homes  :D
They've just mentioned the meltdown of the supermarket online shopping on the news.
Well that explains why my 'town or city doesn't exist'....
I thought I'd be sensible and try to do one, even though the first slot is when we'll be out of isolation again, but between last night and this morning, that's a couple of hours of my life I won't get back.
    Anyone got a spare cow?

Can you get a neighbour or friend to fetch you some essentials and leave it outside @Fairygirl?

I have been to do our weekly shop this morning.  Roads very quiet and only 1 gendarme vehicle in sight on the way home tho there were 2 on foot in the store and not respecting the 1m distance between them.  All very quiet with one shopper allowed in as one came out and every trolley disinfected in between uses.   One stupid couple arguing that they were from the same household so could shop together but the signs were clear and so was Security Man.

The only thing in short supply are organic eggs, Carte D'or ice cream and OH's Belgian beer.  They didn't have his current preference, Westmalle, so I got him 3 others just in case there's even less choice next week - Kwak, Leffe Blonde and a Grimbergen.  I know he likes those as we have the glasses.

Gorgeous, sunny day but the wind is very nippy.   I shall go and commune with my hosta pots and then do some sewing.

Stay safe everyone.  Keep the jokes and news coming.  We need the humour and also to know everyone's coping.

Hello again.  Quiet today,  I managed to get a fair amount of steps on my watch. Not as good as usual,   but it’s hard to think of things to do that aren’t sitting around doing colouring or playing on the iPad. Well, that’s my excuse anyway. I’ve booked Hubby for a walk out the back tomorrow, since there’s only us on the 100 acres, we won’t meet anyone. The walk is if we don’t get a bit of rain. Not likely anyway.

    Night all.

Night Pat. Love to you both x
Apparently the supermarket online orders have gone into meltdown, so I think that was the reason @Obelixx.
We'll try again later, but it's not really a problem. The young couple a few doors down would get stuff if I was desperate  :)
I feel sorry for the wifey next door. She's supposed to be moving as she's sold her house. Can't see that happening....

Just realised I'd already mentioned the s'market meltdown. I keep forgetting what I've said and to whom.  ;)
I know people will be short tempered about rules on distancing,Obs, but really, can't they just suck it up for a while? No need for the behaviour, but that's twuts for you.  :/

Just seen a Clinical Waste lorry go by, somewhat unnerving, never seen one in our lane before.  Makes you wonder just how much wast there is from this epidemic.

Yesterday a small helicopter went over our field then followed the lane, I wonder it they are on watch.  Obviously on his way to town.  Either that or wanted to see how long the queue was in Morrison.

Hi folks,  Have been keeping myself busy in the garden this morning.  Had a delivery of plug plants from Sarah Raven so potted them up.  Moved some plants from around the garden into the new bed at the top of the garden, it's taking shape now.  Hubby painted some barrels for me.
Have facetimed Jonah and Gabriel, they are OK Gabriel is still on his inhalers but he's not getting any worse.
    Loved the flow chart @punkdoc

Morrisons keep telling me they've a problem with my postcode. Just logged back in again and there's now a note saying I'm in a queue, that there are 164,326 customers before me and the wait might be more than 1 hour! Think I might just give up. Similarly with Sainsbury's, have had a virtual trolley load waiting for the last ten days and still can't get either a delivery slot or a click and collect one.
I think we'll just walk down to our little local Tesco later to pick up (hopefully) some milk and bread, we're beginning to run short.

@Lizzie27- they announced earlier on the news that there's a meltdown with the online shopping.
I thought I should try and do one for end of next week a we're self isolating here due to daughter. I spent hours trying to get anywhere, as apparently 'my town/city doesn't exist'. There's a real glitch, so you'll have to wait. I can't go to any shops but fortunately we're ok for now.
Daughter had to  phone the NHS 111 earlier as she was struggling with her breathing, after seemingly being a bit better. Apparently, that's common as it takes a while to get 'further down'. She waited 45 mins to get through. She's ok though.

We braved our SM shop today & it was ok. Controlled queue to get in but did not have to wait that long. Most things available except cleaning products & loo rolls luckily we aren't desperate for either. No fully skimmed milk which OH usually uses so she will have to put up with semi. We have managed to get enough to stretch to 2 weeks, if we supplement from the freezer, the milk being the only exception. Roads were pretty quiet. I have ordered a new cold frame so I can move things out of Greenhouse quicker.
    Hope all are well.

My daughters just phoned, her friend works in a bank, an old man has just toddled into the bank, in St Austell, and deposited £1. In his savings account.
