    Well that was fun, not.
    Was supposed to be doing a tele conference with a group of London ICU consultants, and I started by asking, what would really make a difference to your working lives?
    Answer: not wasting money, paying for people like you. [ I am sure none of you are bothered, but I am not getting paid, a condition of my early retirement package, was that I was not allowed to undertake any paid work.]
    It was a very short conference and I am now going to sit in my garden and de stress.

    I know @Fairygirl - except he was concerned with Gauls.  My forum name comes from having quite a lot of obelisks in my last garden and there being a famous Belgae called Ambiorix from Tongeren way who had a run in with Julius Caesar and co.  He has a big statue in the town square.   I changed the "sk" to "x" and added a kiss.

    Where my my son and his wife live in a very remote place, along the road in the field some travellers have set up camp, Amanda said they’re nice people and she always talks to them, other people trying to get them shifted, as they do, anyway two of the yours women knocked and gave Amanda a form to fill in of anything she wanted or needed doing, they said they were young, fit and healthy so just ask.

    The village and the church...Sod all.

    @Busy-Lizzie. It’s not exercising alone only, you can go with members of your house hold, just not your friend and neighbours.

    @Lyn :)

    Huzzah!  Notcutts have delivered my bags of compost and soil conditioner a day earlier than I was expecting.  Repotting of the blueberries and other plants will commence tomorrow morning when the sun is on the terrace  B)

    I know that @ Lyn, but I have to walk alone as there is only me and OH and he's very lame waiting for a hip replacement, which will now be postponed.

    Evening. Hope everyone is ok.

    Well that, as they say, is that then @punkdoc. Their loss.

    I was thinking - what will happen to all the plants in garden centres and nurseries now??

    Hope you're ok @punkdoc. You can't change the attitudes sometimes... :/
    Have you had a reasonable day @AuntyRach?

    I think they'll have a skeleton staff tending to plants, as far as possible. Don't see how they can do anything else really  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It feels a bit strange in our hospital - wards, beds, staff, kit and patients all re-arranged. There is a sense of impending doom but also a feeling of team work and camaraderie.
    I always knew that I had a diverse job, a challenging job and an important job, but this is something else. Thank you for thinking of me folks.
