    Good morning all  :) ☕️
    Slept like a log ...

Things to do today include  tennis, pick up some bits from the shop and then assemble a chicken pot pie for supper.

Son and colleagues are stressed ... their business depends on people getting together in large groups. 🙄

OH snored like a train last night so I decamped to the sofa as the spare beds have been stripped for airing.   Now I'm feeling as bleary as the weather.

More patchwork homework then as it is so very wet outside.   Hope Hubby gets the all clear @Hostafan1.   No idea what to do for dinner @Dovefromabove.  Better go and raid the freezer.

    Hi all

Really enjoying that there is more light in the mornings, we have a Song Thrush that starts his beautiful warblings about 5.45.

Love being woken by a song thrush @punkdoc ... we had one here a few years ago but I've not heard it lately ...

Hello again all Forkers.  I have news of Lily Pilly for all those who've been wondering how she's getting on after her illness last summer.   I've been in touch with her husband who tells me that she suffered another problem in October and the combination of the two has led to an accelerated onset of a form of dementia.    She is now being cared for in a good home.

Her husband tells me she is inundated and somewhat overwhelmed with cards and flowers but he would dearly love to be able to talk to her about her Forker pals and other friends on these boards as he feels this would stimulate happy memories.

He's not very computer savvy so I have arranged with @Fairygirl and @Dovefromabove to be a conduit for messages.  Just let us know, either here or by PM, that you are happy to be remembered to her and any little stories you have about former chats with her be they personal, family or pet related so we can pass them on.

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks @Obelixx   ... sad news indeed, but it's good to know that our friend is content and well cared for.

    Very sad indeed.
We used to message each other regularly and I certainly found her a great help, I hope she felt likewise.
Please pass on my kindest regards.

    Morning.

That is sad news about our forum friend Lily Pilly. I private messaged her a few times when she was recovering from sepsis, back last summer, and had some lovely replies. I will put together a little message for her.

    Have a good day folks.

I feel rather stunned by that news. Please pass on my very best wishes to her and her family and remind her that one of my favourite bush foods as a child was eating Lilly
Pilly fruit straight from the tree in Ulladulla. She might remember..
