I'm so glad for you @chicky and chicklet. When I posted this morning at roughly the same time your post hadn't arrived yet. What a huge relief that must be.
I've been cleaning windows and outside paintwork. There is a nip in the air.
MIL has just been admitted to Aberdeen Royal, in a very bad state, they are not sure if it is COVID, or sepsis. Suddenly hits home, that there is nothing her 4 kids can do, no one can visit obviously, so all we can do is keep in touch with the hospital. Worrying times. Very pleased chicklet is home, @chicky, a massive relief for you.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I'm so sorry @punkdoc This is the reality, and it's why people must stay home and not travel to other areas. The NHS have so much in their own areas to deal with. Everyone has to be sensible and responsible. I'd love to be out on a hill again, especially on those good days last week, but I can't walk to them, and they will still be there when we get back to normality. In the meantime - would anyone like the grey skies and cold wind in exchange for a wee bit of sun....?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Evening all, Sorry to hear your news @punkdoc hugs from me. Glad to hear your Chicklet is back in the nest Chicky. It's good that your daughter is eating again Fairy, hopefully she's on the mend now.
We've been in the garden again, I've removed an unruly Chocolate Vine that wasn't doing very well and started to plan what I'm going to put in the new bed at the top of the garden. Hubby has been sorting out the electrics in the garden, the lights are working but not the pond pump. At the moment he is freaking out because we have been getting loads of bees in the bathroom and he is terrified of them. I'm having to check the room before he goes in there. Stay safe everyone.
