Get out and commune, but mind and keep at least 2 metres from the sh***y neighbour. Shouldn't be difficult!
Amazing how watching the birds or potting something up makes the stress levels drop. Until you hit a rock just where you want to plant, or you're in amongst a jaggy Berberis...

Glad to hear both Fairylets are in good care and have the sense their mother raised them with! Trying to see the positives in all this and the peace and quiet is a big one for me! And on the subject of neighbors that take the p##s Pdoc, I'm just glad the family that were over occupying in the flat above us moved before the lock down!! There's a bright side for you! Can't believe the nerve of your neighbour Pdoc! Don't suppose you could use your influence to get him put away somewhere secure?
Good morning. It's bright and sunny here but chilly tho it will warm up later. I'm pottering indoors with this and that and then going out to wield the trusty Karcher again this pm. Need to get the terrace spruced ready for my few remaining hosta pots and the fuchsias and herbs.
It's worrying times for all of us, especially those of us with loved one some distance away, vulnerable friends and family and those exposed to infection by jobs which are deemed essential and this is likely to go for weeks and maybe months. Huge hugs to all.
And a huge THANK YOU to everyone working to fight this pandemic whether in the NHS and its equivalents elsewhere or in essential services that keep us supplied, fed and safe.

Hi folks, @Fairygirl Glad your daughters are doing OK. Have spoken to son in law this morning and Gabriel and Jonah are doing OK too. Gabriel's breathing seems to be responding to his inhaler, well it isn't getting any worse at the moment.
Hubby has had to go out to get some essential supplies. He is in a queue at Morrisons, everyone is staying 2 metres apart and they are only allowing 10 in at a time. A security guard is on the door but everyone seems to be behaving themselves.
Merri facetimed me this morning. They have just finished their PE session in the garden, Merri has given Mabel a ukelali lesson and Merri will be having a guitar lesson via Skye from Hubby this afternoon. Merri has a full schedule of lessons to do on line and Mabel has to do 20 mins literacy, 20 mins maths and 20 mins science. Having teachers as parents means their education certainly isn't going to slide. Had a lovely home made card from Gabiel and Jonah in the post today, it really cheered me up.
I'm planning to give the greenhouse a clean before plug plants arrive, due tomorrow.
@Punkdoc can't believe the cheek of your neighbour from hell.
Pdoc I think I would have enjoyed to see him coming to you cap in hand!!!
Dove, I'd say well timed! One person or unlimited as neighbours! We are much less stressed now! Good luck with the reporting. I've been given another shopping list to get for an elderly couple in Felixstowe so off to the shops in a few.
That's a big relief for you @Yviestevie. I hope the wee ones continue to improve. Mine are big ugly adult weans, so it's a bit less stressful Nice to hear that folk are behaving at the supermarket. I've not been in one for a while, so I was getting it all 2nd hand. @punkdoc -re the neighbour, you could have yanked his chain a bit though, and let him think you could twist an arm here and there... That was a piece of luck right enough @WonkyWomble. Nothing worse than umpteen folk clumping around above you. I wonder if they would have behaved during the present problem too. I've been watching the wood pigeons lumbering around in the conifer. In theory, they're good and sturdy right in at the trunk, but the branches are quite flimsy. It's like a load of drunken gymnasts at the moment The wee birds are pinching the stuff out of the chicken wire 'cage' for their nests. Most of it is young fairylet's hair. Nothing goes to waste

A row of Swiss chard has been sown and put under a cloche. A large bag of rhubarb has been left on NDNs’ doorstep; the splitting and repotting of hostas is taking place. After that the euphorbia, cannas and tree peony ... a delivery of BF&B and Clem food has just arrived.
It’s all go here ... ☕️

Beautiful day here and I shall sit outside and commune with nature, trying not to think about all the other c##p.
Love to both the fairylets and wishes for a speedy recovery.
Thank you so much for all the kind comments, made me feel very valued.
