    Morning🙂
That one about the Germans made me laugh LB. I thought it was one of those exaggerated tales about them bagging sunbeds and the like. But no - they most definitely do it. All the German spas we’ve visited have big notices everywhere saying you can’t ‘reserve’ seats and rest beds. Doesn’t stop them doing it though.

Up early today - tree men (or will it be four?😂) arriving very soon - I could do with another hour’s kip...
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Morning T'Bird. I would be so tempted to be singing the Monty Python 'I'm a lumberjack...' whilst your tree surgeons are doing their job.

Well, an eventful morning. Lady I take to Canasta isn't going, nor is our other partner so I had a quick think whilst I was in 'sco. I decided I would take advantage of the gorgeous day and get Lily's TV on. Canasta can keep. There was a knock on the door and a lovely man introduced himself as a Rington's (other teas are available) delivery man. He presented me with some freebies of their tea, coffee and biscuits and said he would call back in a fortnight to see if I wanted to become a customer. I am doing a consumer test on the tea at the moment and I have to say it is very delicious.

    Afternoon everyone.
    Blue skies and sunshine today.
Feeling much better today, throat still a bit sore, but not coughing quite so much. Conjunctivitis has cleared up too.
Garden still far too wet to do anything, but the shrubs are starting get greener and spring flowers are looking pretty.
Take care everyone have a good day

I have a little more sad news for you all. Joyce's uncle - who she mentioned visiting often on Rez - passed away in exactly similar circumstances as Joyce just six weeks later. I have heard from Joyce's daughter who told me of this.
