You were lucky to get all that work done Hazel. Hope you are not too stiff tomorrow. I've had a text from one of my ex colleagues and quiz team members. She and her husband have been on a cruise around Uruguay and Chile. They were due to dock in San Antonio today but the Port Authorities have refused the liner permission to dock. They are due to pick up their return flight from Santiago tomorrow. It is not looking good.

This is a copy of an item from the Times of Israel. The Celebrity Eclipse is the cruise ship my friends are on:

Israelis stuck on cruise ship off Chilean coast

About a dozen Israelis are stuck on a cruise ship off the coast of Chile, as they and their fellow travelers are not allowed to dock to fears of the coronavirus, the son of a British-Israeli couple tells The Times of Israel.

The Celebrity Eclipse was supposed to conclude its two-week tour in the Pacific Ocean and disembark today. But the ship’s captain told them that the Chilean authorities are not allowing it to dock, forcing the ship to go in circles off the port of San Antonio, near the capital of Santiago.

There are no known cases of corona on the Celebrity Eclipse, but everyone on the ship is expected to remain on board for at least 14 days before they are allowed to disembark.

    Hi everyone,
So very cold and grey here today. Still can't get out in the garden to do anything, still so very wet 😣
Feeling so much better, just a bit tired. But will take things easy for awhile, don't want to catch any more bugs.....especially THE Virus😨  OH and myself aren't  27 yet.....still a few years to go 😉 but I'm so very worried in case my OH catches it because of his low immune system after Cancer.  So we're not going to go out much or too far. Although if it goes on too long and the weather doesn't improve I shall go nuts 😭
We were supposed to go to a family party next Saturday for a anniversary celebration. But it's now been cancelled. Lots of family members travelling from all over but they have postponed it. Shame as Saturday is their actual anniversary.
LB So sorry to read about Joyce's uncle. Would you please send my condolences and very best wishes to her daughter.
Topbird, hope your FIL is feeling better day by day.
Hazel, is it tomorrow that jury service starts.....if so hope all goes well and it's not too gruesome.

    Good evening all.
Sunny but very windy day was here. I had a long two hours walk with my dog. I found a bunch of wild asparagus, so it will be my dinner tonight. I had a lot of work in the garden: deadheading hyacinth and daffs, sowing kale and red cabbage and cleaning my little pond.
I'm watching news and situation across Europe doesn't look good.

SGL, take care of yourself and especially of your OH.

All of you take care of yourself. I sincerely hope so that older people will not stay four months in isolation.

Hello SGL and Ante. SGL, I hope that you and your OH manage to find things indoors that will interest you. I will pass on your condolences to Joyce's daughter.
Ante, it must have been lovely to have the walk in the fresh air with your dog. Wild asparagus sounds very yummy. I hope you have lots of butter to go on it.

Evening all. Sorry to hear of people trapped on cruise ships and cancelled parties. SGL I do hope your OH keeps safe and sound - you both deserve that after all you’ve been through. Same goes for everyone else at serious risk. I think this virus is going to impact all of us is one way or another.

Not great news from Yorkshire but OH came home today for a short break. Whether he actually stays is another matter - playing it very much by ear - we’re really in limbo at the moment.
