Don't let my OH see that LB - think he'd quite like a drum kit 😱

    Evening all.

As Col TT has been in hibernation of late I can tell you I've been giving the oven a good clean. Hate doing that job - only gets done about every 2 years - so it's a big job when I eventually get round to it.

I've been doing bookkeeping for the business today Chey so I share your pain. Another of my least favourite tasks.

Thank you for your continued good wishes for FIL. Not much change really. He's still got a chest drain in which is a little worrying and they're concerned about the risk of a thrombosis - but he seems no worse than he was last week and maybe a little better.

A friend's OH had a stroke last week following a heart bypass operation. Another friend's BIL was taken to hospital on Sunday with suspected meningitis.

    Poor old NHS....

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Evening T'Bird. That job you have mentioned is one that I need to tackle very soon. I've got all the kit, I just need to get stuck in. Unfortunately it requires getting down and my knees are most reluctant to comply. You are having a spate of bad news too. I hope that the patients are rallying.

Getting down is the easy part it's getting back up that I have problems with.

Yes Pauline, that is definitely a challenge. I need something sturdy to hold on to.
