I’ve been waiting in an online queue for Tesco Christmas delivery slots for over two and a half hours this morning but I have just got through. My weekly deliveries are now booked until December 23rd.

  • If only some other SMs would allow you to book more than a week ahead.
The resignations from No 10 are giving me cheer at the moment.

Or into the bicycle spokes of pavement cyclists but unfortunately it would probably damage the pokey stick

It would be worth it though.

But you might break your arm in the process. This would need to be taken into consideration.

Interesting to see that another vaccine has been developed entirely independant of the Pfizer one which works in very much the same way and also has 90%+ effectiveness.  The researchers would seem to be on the right track.

It is a gorgeous sunny day, my youngest daughters' Birthday, I took her card ,presents and a lemon drizzle cake up (her fav) the day before this lockdown, rang her said "you will have to eat the cake now", she thought I said, "You musn't eat the cake now", She DID eat it.There isn't a cloud in the sky, (wasn't like this the day she was born)

My winter flowering jasmine is doing just that, snowdrops are coming up and I have one very lovely blue bloom on an Algerian Iris today.

  • It was a lovely day yesterday, no rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took my dog for a walk along Par Sands and it was a glorious walk. Loads of people and dogs while the tide was out. Everyone seemed in good spirits, cheerfully enchanging   "Morning", one gentleman even asked if he could share my dog's treats when he saw me giving him one. Not a good idea as the treats are a bit soggy from being in my dog bag. My dog had a lovely time, lots of strange dogs to meet and one puppy he rather fell in love with. There were lots of wrinklies getting their exercise as well. It was rather like Christmas Day down here when the beaches are always very busy.
I put a line of washing out before leaving home and it was dry when I took it in  at 4.00pm. Brilliant.
The only down side was that after dog and I had lunch and a nap it was too late to fit a session in the garden into my schedule.
I cannot have everything and there is always another day.
I feel great today and all is well inb my little world!

    Trump.
I wondered who was paying for Trump's 'election fraud' cases around the US - whether it was him personally or whether it came out of Gov funds - so Googled it and found this Reuters' article from a week or so back.

...the man is just a gem. You couldn't make up some of the stuff he does. Is he already fund raising for 4 years time under the pretext of challenging this election?

And Prati Pitel stays  - with a vote of confidence (but where does Boris get his vote of confidence from?) and the person who investigated the accusations and wrote the report resigns...Sometimes I think the US and UK are in a race to have the most farcical political situation.

Politics used to be so dour eh? And who knew the word prorogue (I try to get it into at least one conversation each day now) before Boris - I may have to dust off Ian Richardson in House Of Cards to see if it was factual/prophetic after all.
