I am currently loving my recently found large bar of Chanel No. 5. Very soft and kind on hands, unfortunately most of the perfume has now evaporated. Think I'm converted back to proper soap now.

At least you don't have to plaster it on a sticky out bit and hope it doesn't slide off before you get rid of the bottle!

Why can’t they make sticking plasters with the same glue that Imperial Leather uses? Put a plaster on a cut finger and it comes off within two seconds of being near a tap. By contrast the Imperial Leather label could probably give cockroaches a run for their money in surviving a nuclear war.

Does anyone know why it's called Imperial Leather?  Was it invented for cleaning saddlery?

RTBC .... I’ve just been down to make a (very) early morning cuppa,  where last night there was just the dark surface of damp compost, now there are the pale unfurlings of two rows of runner bean seedlings ... ain’t nature wonderful?

Just had three bags of peat free organic New Horizon compost delivered by a small hardware shop the other side of town - and they didn't charge for delivery. I've not used this before, is it any good?
