    Our local plant nursery rather than GC has a huge area of raised staging where their bedding, annuals etc are displayed.  The staging itself is probably over 2 metres wide with walk space either side.  Those walkways are only just wide enough for a single trolley, and anybody leaning over the staging will be much less than 2 metres from people in the next aisle.  Only opening alternate aisles will mean half the plants can't be reached.  Not an easy one to sort out.

    I had thought at the beginning of lockdown that governments should find a way of keeping the garden centers and nurseries open. So many people at home having the time to venture into the garden and starting to take an interest in growing things. Just look at the increase in numbers on the plants and problem threads! Also the health benefits mental and physical!

    I'm sure if garden centres / nurseries can put up barriers/ one way systems , as supermarkets have done, I can't see why they wouldn't do that

    Our local recycling centres are opening on Wednesday.  I think I will wait a couple of weeks, at least,  before I take my stuff.

    My friends parents are both being released from hospital this afternoon after Covid-19. He's been and sorted out the house for them but , sadly, has to leave before they arrive home.
    At least he knows he's helped them.
    That is not good news, it is excellent news.

    Good day today.  I've suffered from depression for many years, and it's been getting steadily worse since lockdown started.  With most of my usual structured activities suspended, I've become more lethargic than ever.  Sleeping 12 hours a day and barely stirring from the sofa during the other 12.

    Today was different; I was wide awake just before the alarm, practised my daily devotions, read my email, checked out the forum and Facebook all before getting up.  Spent the rest of the day doing useful things, didn't push over any mountains but got lots of little jobs done in the house and garden.  Hope I don't crash again tomorrow.

    @josusa47 ((hugs)) 😊
    it’s a good start here too ... I slept like a log and woke with almost no pain ... I can hardly believe it ... tears of relief ... I’m being very careful today. Let’s hold each other’s hands and step forward with a smile this morning ... 😊
