He’s only the 11th black senator ever. Isn’t that astonishing? Currently there are 65 BAME MPs in the Commons, and 50 BAME representatives in the House of Lords.

Reports of 'The Donald's' tantrums are becoming more surreal by the day.  He now reckons that his Vice President has the power to change the election rules to 1 vote per state, thus making Donald the winner.  The fact that everybody, including the VP, is telling him it can't be done doesn't matter to him.  "Just do it" he keeps saying.

We, the residents of the area put forward our case in opposition to the dreadful plans for next door, the planning officer recommended to approve. 7 to 5 of committee voted to reject. Princess tippytoes the roe deer doe gets to keep her home for a bit longer. 😀🦊👍

Half way down a bottle of fizz. We didn't think the committee had any balls, but they came up trumps at the finish.

Let's hope they hang on to them for a good many years yet!

It's been a long haul. Over a year. The first plans were circulated "for residents opinions" October 2019. 80 people turned up at the parish council meeting. Usually they think they have had a good turnout if 5 attend.  Residents opinions totally ignored and they tried to slide the plan in during the first lockdown. We have had to do a lot of meetings online, can't have a full residents meeting, and had to keep picking out all the errors in the application. Still, we now know how to tackle it.  On to round 2.
