Yesterday, lovelly day, great weather youngest daughter came round, with bloke and kids, celebrating that plus Fathers Day, and YES we had rain, oh joy. Water butts full, its now sunny and blue sky again. Its a bit of a standing joke, normally when she comes down, it pours, Normal conditions without the lockdown, we say come on down to the beach it pours, anyone want a visit from her!!. They came down one day last week we went on the beach, it was lovelly.
Plumber came today and connected the outflow pipes from sink and washing machine in the utility, to the drain. Hooray! After 4 months I no longer have to empty trugs and buckets of water into the drain every time I do a wash.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Our very good local chippy is open for business again today! We've missed it so much. We normally have their chips for dinner every Wednesday. Excuse the drooling.
Local Hardy plant society are holding a two day plant sale over the weekend close by in a town that would normally be in Britain in Bloom competition and usually have an Open Gardens this weekend all for Charities ! Asked for donations as well so will take some of our own grown perennials in pots and hey chance to buy some new plants ! Here in South East Wales. Best e-mail of the day yesterday Can't Wait.
My other three gooseberry plants arrived yesterday. Too hot to plant them, so I unpacked and watered them and left them in the shade. Probably plant them today.
