My RTBC is the prospect of a whole summer without endless sport on TV/radio/everywhere I look. A tiny glimmer of silver in the lowering clouds, from my point of view (though I realise many won't share it). If they'd cancel the Grand National rather than run it behind closed doors I'd be even happier.
Just asked OH if he wants a coffee. No, he thinks he'll have a glass of wine instead, all glum. Golf on TV - cancelled. St Patrick's golf play on Sunday - cancelled. Competitions between clubs - cancelled for the foreseeable. Not a happy bunny.
RTBC? I have a long list of things to keep him busy in the garden.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I have tickets for Gardeners World Live and also Toby Buckland's Gardenfest . I have fingers crossed. My RTBC today is the sight of bees in the pulmonarias and even the sight of a butterfly this afternoon. Also the hedgehog (s) have returned.
Tree paeony seeds would be lovely, thank you @Obelixx. I'll message you.
Today's RTBC is that it stayed dry enough for me to get stuck in (literally) to the bramble patch in the front garden. Lots of roots to dig out but I've got a huge pile of prickly stuff to do something with. Time to visit the fire station and ask for permission for that bonfire, I think...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Probably won't be so cheerful though when all the flower shows are cancelled.

I suppose Chelsea and Hampton Court and Gardeners World Live will be cancelled too 😢
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
