Absolutely pppppersisting down here in Gloucester.  Weather forecast says 'showers' but I thought showers were short periods of rain - short this ain't.

...well the rain stopped here about an hour after it started. Local weather station shows 7mm... Still 24+ degrees and now so humid..
The kilt and sporran may be a good idea after all - what tartan though?

@KT53, that storm around 6.30 pm yesterday was quite something with the wind, the hailstones and then rain. It was so heavy at one point that I could hardly see the house across the road.

Maybe a TuTu would be more effective @steveTu

...they're discussing Trump's shower recommendations on Radio 4 now...must have hit a nerve with the production team... Refrained from suggesting that he's just a pillock though - typical Radio 4 reserve.

....A desmond? Isn't that sexist..or at least some form of '...ist'?
I did think about the equivalent of war paint for rain - presumably more blues and greens  (and oil based rather than water) rather than angry reds and blacks...But then I thought the neighbour may think I'm a peeping tom in camouflage and shoot me...

Not that I'm aware of.  In my undergraduate days, a "Desmond" was a lower second degree, a 2:2, geddit?
