Torrents of much-needed rain overnight.  Sod's law, I'd been out and given everything a good soaking just before bedtime.  But I'm not complaining.  I've just started off a batch of bread, and now the sun is shining; I think I'll be weeding most of the day while the yeast does its magic.

I soaked the veg patch last night too @josusa47 on the basis that if the rain came (and it did!) it would soak in better. Hooray!

My RTBC is the temp, now closer to 20C than 30C and my brain seems to be working again. Mind you there is only me here so I could be fooling myself!

Another one happy with the cooler, fresher weather (although l know not everyone is 😁).
Rain as well, what bonus, saves me getting the hosepipe out. Weeding postponed, but not a problem. Just have to have another cuppa instead.

Much better @AnniD - 15 degrees just now. We're not used to that 'hot sun' nonsense here  :D
Very wet again too, so no need to water anything. I think the thunder/lightning isn't far away. At least I'm not out in it like I was yesterday.  ;)

Daughter made a rhubarb pie yesterday. Nice with a cuppa.....

I got it right for once, only watered containers and the thirsty veg last night. No deep watering which is the usual routine after a hot day here. Had plenty of rain overnight and this morning. Had planned to cut grass today, unlikely now.

It’s been raining on and off all morning and it’s cool down enough for me to do some gardening 👍

We had a storm 2 nights ago, it rained, it rained last night, and today, but after I had been to the "tip" and got my washing dry, AND my ton of erric. soil, AND my 2 tables were delivered after waiting since Jauary.

Not sure if this is a RTBC or not, but we've just changed our holiday dates for Crete from September this year to September next year.  The process was very easy, and not a lot of additional cost.  We love Crete but the thought of umpteen hours wearing masks, and the atmosphere on holiday being very different, we felt it was the right choice.
