I accidentally bought a knockoff one in a pound shop. It smelt awful and made my skin itch. I only buy hardware in pound shops now!

My dad used to swear by that pink one that came in a big block. Vile smell. A great believer in TCP ( Tom Cat's Pxss) to those who didn't rate it!

    Wasn't that Lifebuoy?
Pears, Wright's Coal Tar, Lifebuoy and the irritating Imperial Leather with the piece of paper stuck to it.....smell and memory eh?

A lot of soaps make me itch cannot use Pears, gives me a rash, only really Dove and Imperial Leather that I can use. Imperial Leather being far more superior in my mind (no doubt a mind addled somewhat by advertising in '70s  :D)
