  • Such lovely photos to cheer the day! Thank you!

Cheerful that I am home after hospital, safe and that it is peaceful here. Bliss..

    Glad you're better, @islandanchoress!   :)

My RTBC is that the high strength Vit D I was advised to take (family history of skin cancer so I cover up when gardening etc) has improved the state of my finger nails almost immediately.  They're much stronger and no longer split.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Vitamin D is fascinating, it is the only supplement, that most experts agree, we should probably all be taking.
    It has multiple beneficial effects.

    Masks:
There is a positive side for the more mature lady or indeed gentleman.
Apart from crow's feet, none of the '7 signs of ageing' (Whatever they are, I'm sure I have them all.) show. Under the mask, you can be wrinkly, jowly, hairy or even warty. Your skin may have lost its youthful radiance but no one will know.

  • Standing by the gate, in sweet warm sun and gentle wind, gazing at ocean and mountains, and picking and eating peas.... with the latest of my rescued cats purring and winding round my ankles. ….Perfection.

RTBC, met up with my family yesterday including daughter who had driven up from Devon for my birthday (and both my grandchildren's - her niece and nephew).
