I dig out a spade blade's width from the base of my two dalek composter bins today then gave the remaining stuff a good stir with added grass clippings. Then I weeded out one of the nettle patches and put the leaves in a bucket to soak ready to mix with cardboard and add to the bins in a few days. I've now got a load of lovely crumbly compost in a dumpy bag and the 2 bins will be steaming away again in no time I'm sure.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
One reason to be cheerful (and we need lots of them currently) I found in my e-mail this morning. Bird Song Opera (revisited version of Mozart’s Magic Flute with birds galore).
Rushed upstairs to share the above with my OH and in turn I listened to a short musical video re the lockdown from the Marsh family which is being shared on Facebook - also brilliant, very funny - I was quite emotional by the end - do watch it if you come across it. I think it's going viral, had over 5 million views already!

I mentioned it this morning on Forkers @Lizzie27. They were on the breakfast news on the Beeb. Hilarious.
RTBC today. Finally getting some of the little plants I'd been growing on, planted. Happy days. The weather was better than expected too, which was a bonus. Rain for tomorrow, so I barely even have to water them in.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
A new month, and everything looks fresh here after last night's rain. Even some tulips flowering. Let's make this thread the main one, folks - less doom and gloom
