I wish I'd eloped. Good luck to her and her future partner and tell her not to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a dress she'll wear once.. They can do exactly what they want without having to please anyone else.
I hope my daughter elopes. I'd rather give her the money I'd spend on something that will give her pleasure or security for more than a few hours.

She's asked me to go with her at the end of the month to help choose her dress. They've organised an 'only the two of us' wedding in the lakes so i guess i'll at least have some input on the proceedings :)

She's already had her money...  :D

Good luck to her @Klink but will they just drag witnesses off the street?

No @Obelixx ,there's two witnesses included in the wedding package. They can have 'add ons' like a photographer too.

    I’m so chuffed.

The results of the local online pet show were announced tonight.

    Most handsome cat: 1st place

    Prettiest cat: 1st place

They also won second places in a couple of the minor categories.

Whatever you do, don't tell them they have won.  Most the cats I know are already so full of their own importance they would be impossible after that. :D

Breakfast ... the first of our Concorde pears this year ... crisp and juicy ... soooo good 😋

I like my pears crunchy too. Conference as hard as turnips - yum. I hate them when they're wet and gritty.

@b3 Concorde are a cross between Conference and Doyenne de Comice ... crisp like a Conference but juicy and not grainy. Self fertile too. A wonderful pear 🍐  <3
