The smashed glass panel in the roof of the conservatory has been fixed today so we have a usable conservatory again.  At least it will be once the smell of whatever they used to seal the panel has gone. :D

After that biting wind, its gorgeous today, 11d, but without the wind I can actually sit by the veg plot, just weed amongst the brocoli and caulis done a bit of tidying up down there, getting the garlic in.MUST remember to water the bottom greenhouse, confession time, I killed the first lot of peas!

RTBC today was the butterfly appearing again. A wee peacock which has obviously overwintered.
He flew off when I went to get the camera, of course, but when I sat on the bench to contemplate the meaning of life, he flew right over and sat on the gravel right beside my foot.
    Cheeky b*gger  :)

I found a potato plant I'd missed and as I was putting the tools away I was imagining a lovely  Shepherd's pie - sadly I have no onions but I do have lots of parsley and some chives so onwards and upwards.
