Typical!  Mind you, even Bonzo Hoover doggy manages to avoid meds in his dinner but we have cats and hide them in some of their food.  Works a treat, especially for even fussier Rasta and her daily arthritis meds.

Hope all goes well for OH today.

OH is hoeing the gravel drive in a dry spell.  I am on pantry and annex duties, putting them back now the varnish has dried.  Scintillating stuff.

The surgeon said OH definitely needs a hip replacement and the hospital will be in touch in the next couple of weeks. The nurses sang Happy Birthday!

That's sweet of the nurses BusyL  :) Happy birthday to Mr BusyL and get well soon to your horse, wrapping in a towel and squeezing jaw open to get meds down not an option with a horse but what I have to resort to at times with the pussycats here I'm afraid!

While I'm here I just have to query the behavior of my new Rose which has 9 flower buds on it growing happily, star of Holland climber... I've also had last years sweet peas still flowering on occasion in a hanging basket!!!!! Trust me we have had plenty of weather! My wonky pergola is testament to that!!!!
  • Hi @WonkyWomble 😊
your garden is probably a bit warmer than some as you’re right in the town centre ... but that sweet pea is certainly a bit bonkers!
I’m tucked up in bed now ... so sweet dreams everyone  🐑 🐑 🐑

Well I'm looking forward to my roses! I'll pick them and bring them in when they are ready, bad weather will only spoil them outside!
Night night Dove, I'm having a Darjeeling then off to bed myself.

Hello Wonky. Sleep well Dove and Wonky.

We've had tipping rain and howling gales and no Internet this evening.

    Hello BusyL  :)
Well, I don't know where everybody has gone.... But I'm off to work. Its a sunny day and I'm hoping I may get a little time in the garden when I get home as all my time off seems to have storms in it!
    Have a good day all!

    Morning all.
    Where are you?
I must dig up a couple more roses in pots to give my daughter on Friday and muck out the horses' shelter while the rain has stopped.

Lovely bright morning here but my head is a little less so. Been starring in one of Dicken's lesser known works "Great Expectorations" for 11 days now and getting very bored with it. OH complaining as it disturbs both our sleep until I remind her she gave it to me!
Lots of lovely signs of Spring around so we must be due some snow. Must have a wander round to remind myself where all the bulbs are. A few patches took a heavy pounding last Spring when the big beeches were cut back so I want to see if they survived.
