Oh yum, Chicky. Pity I’m watching my sugar intake.

Which Starte are you in now?  Obviously not Tassie because they were hinting at snow when I watched the weather program this morning.  Looks like NSW. 😁

bed time now, so hope to catch up tomorrow

We ran out of icecream last night (I keep it as a standy for quick puds and sore throats) but too much choice in the SM and I dithered. Ended up with boring Vanilla again but at least everyone will eat it. Will make a blackberry and apple crumble to go with it if I've time and the inclination over the weekend.
It's our local Potato Day tomorrow so looking forward to seeing our Garden Club members/friends - and coffee with cake!

Vanilla is the best accompaniment ice cream, as long as it's made with proper vanilla pods and proper cream and milk, not palm oil and pretend vanilla.   However, we usually have a tub of salted caramel ice cream on the go - OH's 2nd fave - and in hot weather I like to have some sorbets - lemon, passion fruit, raspberry usually.

  • Oh dear ... we must be weak willed ... standby ice cream wouldn’t last long in our freezer 🙄 good job OH has a bike and Wrose is only half a mile away 🍦

Proper vanilla is the best with honeycomb a close second .... but we do have a diff spot for the occasional coconut and lime. 😋

I keep a cheap tub of ice cream in the Norfolk cottage fridge freezer, then I know if there has been a powercut as the ice cream goes cristally or separated. OH says he knows anyway because of the security camera and his iPad. So far, so good.

Back from daughter's, roses delivered. She had prepared a long bed by the fence. School hols so saw her two children, boy and girl, 8 and 10 and baby boy who is just learning to stand.

Hi everyone, back from nanna duty with Jonah and Gabriel.  Weather has been awful today, it hasn't stopped raining for a minute. We have a leak in the bedroom so have to have some repointing done and flashing replaced, man supposed to be coming on Wednesday to sort it out.  Looks like gardening will be out of the question over the weekend :/

    Evening.
Partial to a mint choc chip myself, but a good vanilla and maybe a toffee do frequent my freezer. I prefer ice cream on hot puddings to custard or cream - the hot and cold contrast is delicious.

Very heavy rain here unfortunately. High winds forecast tomorrow.

My week off has started - hur-bloomin’-ray! Aunty duties this weekend then I will be on weather-watch to try and start some gardening next week.

    Hope all forkers are ok.

My garden and I live in South Wales.
